  abstract = {In this paper, we make an analysis of the main requirements needed for building
  an authoring environment for interactive multimedia documents. These requirements are of 
different nature as they are related to a considerable number of computer science fields. 
Then, we present our contribution to meet our requirements. The particularity of our project 
is to consider the problem of multimedia authoring as a whole and develop a real running application
to validate our results.}
